Abstract

Limits actions of persons that take clams for commercial purposes.] Requires State Department of Fish and Wildlife to limit take of clams for commercial purposes.] Requires State Department of Fish and Wildlife to annually assess take of clams for commercial purposes in Oregon and produce certain surveys of clam populations every six years.] Establishes permit fees for resident and nonresident permits to take clams for commercial purposes.] Requires State Department of Fish and Wildlife to produce survey of bay clam populations in priority areas of Tillamook Bay. Requires department to establish and appoint Tillamook Bay Clam Advisory Committee. Specifies advisory committee duties. Provides time lines for appointment and initial meeting of advisory committee. Requires department to report to interim committee of Legislative Assembly on or before December 31, 2022, regarding advisory committee recommendations.
